The Sky Mavis Growth team is an agile group of Web3 enthusiasts responsible for Sky Mavis, Axie Infinity, and Ronin public-facing communications. We support the promotional efforts of first-party products like the Ronin Wallet as well as those of third-party partners like Ragnarok: Monster World and Coinbase. Our team is based in APAC and North America, which enables near-24/7 coverage of social channels including the Ronin blog, the Axie Infinity Substack, X (formerly Twitter), Discord, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. 

The Copywriter will be responsible for drafting a variety of public-facing communications for publication on the aforementioned channels. This can include a regular cadence of CTA-driven blog posts, long-form technical articles up to 2,000 words, and short-form social copy with accompanying visual assets. The Copywriter will work alongside the Senior Copywriter, other Growth team members, and the Graphic Designers to produce these deliverables.

• Partner with the senior copywriter to ensure a cohesive brand tone across all content pieces.
• Translate direction and key points from briefs into engaging and effective copy concepts.
• Create captivating content around the web3 games and dApps joining the Ronin ecosystem.
• Collaborate with our product and blockchain research teams to develop thought leadership pieces that position Ronin as the industry leader.
• Craft messages that resonate with our target audience across various community funnels and touchpoints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Games Publishing, Ecosystem, Product, Design, and Blockchain research teams to execute content strategies effectively.
• Conceptualize, write, and edit compelling copy for campaign assets, such as marketing collateral, infographics, web copy, social media, and email.
• Actively participate in strategic brainstorming to uplevel our overall narratives.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in content-related fields such as PR, creative writing, communications, media production, etc.

• Strong web3 technical writing experience, with a focus on communicating complex concepts in clear, accessible language for diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with (or a strong willingness to learn about) gaming, NFT, and Web3 culture to support effective and relevant content coverage.
• PR writing experience is a significant plus.
• Adaptable writing style to convey the right message across various topics; comfortable using AI tools but never copy-pasting.
• Willingness to learn about gaming, NFT, and culture is a must-have; experiencing existing end-user experiences is essential.
• Based in the Asia timezone, preferably candidates who have work permit in Vietnam or Singapore.

Skills:

• Ability to condense large amounts of information into concise, consumable pieces of content on a regular basis.
• Collaboration with Graphic, Art, and Design teams through Slack and in-person.
• Cultural sensitivity and experience when working with both internal and external stakeholders from around the world.
• Personal organization and energy management while working in a fast-paced industry.
• Adaptability of writing style according to market conditions, company direction, and individual stakeholder needs.
• Data analysis skills like Python, R, SQL, etc are a plus.
