About the Role

As a writer, you will work closely with the Head of Marketing and our Content Manager to help market the companies raising capital on StartEngine's platform, as well as StartEngine itself. You will do this by creating marketing materials, ranging from email newsletters talking about the different companies raising on our platform right now to educational blog posts about startup investing and what first-time investors should know before making their first investment.

This is a full time role - and what really excites us is someone that can develop unique brand voices. Catchy headlines, intriguing copy...the ability to make the uninteresting things...well...interesting!!

Key Criteria / Requirements

• We are looking for someone that has a genuine passion for fintech/finance/the investment world and can convey that passion through eye-grabbing headlines, riveting blog content, and a general excellence with the written word!
• Writing for the financial industry required
• Has worked on web/social/e-mail/infographics
• Has a portfolio of written work that shows aptitude for engaging writing on *percieved* mundane subjects :)
• Has a mind focused on engagement, clicks and conversion through copy
