About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Controller to lead and manage the company’s accounting operations across multiple entities and international markets. This role will oversee the accounting team, establish and maintain internal controls, and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. The Corporate Controller will also work closely with senior leadership to support strategic initiatives, manage audits, and oversee compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will bring deep accounting expertise, leadership experience in a multi-entity environment, and proven knowledge of cost accounting, manufacturing, and distribution operations. This role requires the ability to streamline processes, support business growth, and provide financial insight into both domestic and international operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee all accounting functions, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger management.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entities.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
• Partner with operations, supply chain, and production managers to align financial reporting with manufacturing and distribution activities.
• Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare and present consolidated financial statements and reports to senior leadership.
• Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and other partners.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and professional growth.
• Manage cost accounting processes, including standard costing, inventory valuation, landed cost analysis, and import/export costs.
• Track and analyze international operations and financial reporting requirements for overseas manufacturing.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and reporting tools.
• Partner with HR, operations, and executive leadership to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
Desired Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred).
• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3–5 years in a management role.
• Knowledge of import/export processes, tariffs, freight, and landed cost analysis.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, consolidations, and multi-entity accounting.
• Manufacturing and distribution finance experience (B2B and B2C required).
• Experience managing international operations or overseas manufacturing strongly preferred.
• Strong track record of supporting operations, supply chain, and production management through financial oversight and analysis.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, Acctivate, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, lookups, data modeling).
• Proven ability to manage audits and ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Experience in consumer products, e-commerce, or fitness/wellness industries a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
