Company Overview
Enpramex Global is embarking on an exciting journey of international expansion. We are seeking a seasoned Corporate Financial Controller to lead our accounting and financial operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting while supporting strategic growth initiatives.
Position Overview
The Controller will oversee all accounting functions, provide strategic financial insights, and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and international accounting standards. As the company expands globally, this role will evolve to manage international financial operations and compliance.
Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Compliance
• Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements for the company and its subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and reporting requirements, including emerging international standards.
• Coordinate and manage annual audits with external auditors.
Accounting Operations
• Direct all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, revenue recognition, and billing.
• Oversee the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop and implement accounting procedures and systems to support company growth and operational efficiency.
Strategic Leadership
• Partner with the CEO to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making and business development.
• Evaluate and improve accounting processes to ensure GAAP compliance and strengthen internal controls.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a small accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Analyze financial results and provide actionable recommendations to management.
International Expansion
• Support the development and implementation of international accounting operations as the company expands.
• Manage international tax planning and compliance, including transfer pricing and VAT.
• Develop strategies to mitigate currency exchange rate risks and manage foreign currency exposures.
Risk Management
• Identify and mitigate financial risks, including credit, operational, and compliance risks.
• Ensure proper safeguarding of company assets.
· Establish and maintain strong internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Prior experience in the fuel/gas distribution industry strongly preferred.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls required.
• Strong understanding of fuel accounting principles and systems.
• Experience with NetSuite strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage change in a growing organization.
