Job Description
Dallas based restaurant group, DRG Concepts, is looking to hire an experienced Corporate R&D Chef.
The candidate will oversee our different concepts, from fast casual to fine dining restaurants. This position will require a vast knowledge of different cuisines and techniques, and a strong ability in coaching and training multiple kitchen crews.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years as multi-unit Executive Chef
• Corporate level experience
• Available to work on weekends, holidays and nights
• Ability and willingness to routinely travel in the DFW area
Qualifications:
• Strong track record of implementing and maintaining menu improvement and innovation
• Extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of kitchen equipment and operations
• 5 years experience in managing fine dining food programs.
• Ability to perform as the culinary lead on all menu roll-outs and photo and video shots
• Strong history of training and developing new leaders
• Strong knowledge of health compliance and OSHA regulations
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with restaurant executive chefs, executive sous chefs and kitchen managers
• Develop BOH training programs
• Maintain recipes data base
• Create and develop new recipes
• Oversee opening of new locations through sourcing kitchen equipment and staff training
