Corporate Security sits within the Legal function. Its mission is to protect Diageo's people, assets, reputation and future development through setting policies and standards and monitoring their implementation, by providing decision makers with expert guidance and services

Financial:

In a high Security risk market such as Mexico, the role shall operate with the appropriate security measures within the AOP by monitoring and managing security and budget appropriately.
Market Complexity:

A deep deterioration of security situation in Mexico, could affect our people, logistic operations, product availability and the business performance in the country and globally.
Leadership Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic business partnering support to enable delivery of proactive fit for purpose security and BCP risk management in a manner that delivers brilliant execution and outcome oriented solutions while appropriately leading and mitigating the associated security and business continuity risks and driving integrated performance to protect and maintain reputation
• Capacity for the management, control and strategy of the entire operation of: Exports, imports, and National Distribution of our products.
• Extensive knowledge of security support and strategy for the Logistics area
• Management and control of the warehouses where our products are stored and distributed (This includes the coordination and management of security systems such as CCTV, access control, and procedures in the different warehouses)
• High level of independent work and initiative required for performance of role.
• Role model the Diageo leadership capabilities, mentor, and motivate the team, build interdependency with the rest of the organization.
• Continuous communication and support to key stakeholders in the business.
• Ensure excellent performance on compliance matters, including management of BCP, training and coaching.
• Great ability to manage and lead crisis cases within the market.
• Security trusted advisor for Commercial business.
