Title: X Ray Technician Company: Iowa Medical & Classification Center-Department of Corrections Duration: Potential 3 month contract Position Type: Contract Location: Coralville, IA, United States Description: X Ray Technician w/lab & ECG experience - 40 hours per week or X Ray Technician only - 20 hours per week Certified x-ray technician: Possession of a current certificate to practice diagnostic radiography as issued by the Department of Public Health which indicates fulfillment of the training requirements for a "general diagnostic radiographer"* and experience in radiology Scope and Duties: 40 hour work week for staff with x-ray, lab tech, and EKG experience. (5-8 hour days) if no qualified applicants meet this requirement we would consider applicants that are strictly an x-sray technician and work hours would be 20 hours per week (5-4 hour days). IMCC is a state correctional facility. Strict security practices are in place. Safety training will be provided to selected staff by IMCC. Remarks: No holiday, sick pay, or vacation benefits are included with this position. Potential 3 month contract
