- Ensure the safety of guests, employees, and company assets through constant patrol and observation of all assigned areas and reporting activities in accordance with departmental standard operating procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and providing directions.
- Monitor and maintain control of facility access points and permitted areas of entry and respond to sounding alarms ensuring the safety of employees, guests, and company assets,and monitor visitor activities.
- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, and take appropriate action.
- Communicate with supervisor or manager on safety issues.
- Complete accurate and detailed incident reports.
Qualifications
Experience, Knowledge, and Education:
- High school diploma/GED or applicable experience.
- Customer service skills to diplomatically communicate with customers and tenants.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military and/or security not required but is a plus.
- Non-Commission license or ability to obtain a valid, Non-Commissioned Security License through the Texas DPS Private Security Board.
- Acceptance of assigned shifts including weekends.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
- Successfully pass pre-employment screening
- must have a valid Texas driver's license or, if licensed in another state, be able to obtain a Texas license within 30 days."
