Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Patrol Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment through proactive surveillance, conflict management, and law enforcement activities. This role requires a strong commitment to public safety, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. Responsibilities • Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect criminal activity. • Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to identify suspicious behavior or incidents. • Respond promptly to alarms and calls for assistance, assessing situations and taking appropriate action. • Enforce laws and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions. • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary. • Document incidents accurately in reports and maintain detailed records of activities. • Engage with the community to foster positive relationships and promote safety awareness. • Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and property damage. • Participate in ongoing training related to conflict management, surveillance techniques, and law enforcement practices. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in law enforcement is preferred. • Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is highly desirable. • Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and attentive during shifts. • Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively. • Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, is advantageous. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments. • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with the public.
