Creative Technologist

Future Colossal, an award-winning innovation lab for experiential technologies in advertising, entertainment, and art, is seeking Creative Technologists, for both Freelance and Full-time positions. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in crafting unique and memorable experiences for our clients.

By exploring the boundaries of technology and design, we create immersive spaces that interact with the viewer. Our team is comprised of designers, creative technologists, hardware fabricators, and coders with expertise ranging from marketing to architecture to installation art. We pull off the extraordinary, always using the latest technologies to create press-worthy interactions where brands can build relationships with consumers across all channels.

As Creative Technologist you'll need a well-rounded skill set that includes both creative and technical abilities. You should be comfortable working with new and different technologies and UX. Creative responsibilities would include drawing, 2D compositing, Graphic Design, 3D modeling/animation, video compositing, and more. Technical responsibilities include programing (Unity C#, C++), physical computing, AV knowledge, and more. This role is for someone at the intersection of design and technology, that thrives on continuously learning and exploring new tools and artistic experiences.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to concept and execute compelling interactive experiences for brands, including collaborating with designers and hardware fabricators to ensure technical feasibility of designs
• Lead the development and implementation of technology-focused strategies for each project
• Conduct research to identify and evaluate new technologies and tools that can be used to enhance the user experience
• Identify and mitigate technical risks
• Follow best practices for design and code standards
• Be comfortable in an agile environment with short turn projects

We have access to the latest technology (XR, VR, LIDAR, robotics, biometrics, 3D printing, industrial tech, high-end AV, etc.) and the collective ability to pull-off the most ambitious projects.

Compensation $65k-$90k, and may vary based on relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
