Critical Care Physician

Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists PC, Nashville, TN is actively seeking critical care trained physicians to join their team for dayshift ICU coverage at Ascension St Thomas West Hospital, Nashville. Coverage will include Cardiovascular, Surgical and Neurological Critical Care Units. Experienced and new graduates are encouraged to apply. CVICU experience is preferred but not required. We operate a care team model including Nurse Practitioners/Physician assistants. The jobs will be dayshift 5 days a week Monday-Friday, a minimum of 26 weeks of the year. Nights, weekends and holidays are not required.

Critical Care Anesthesiologists will have the ability to provide anesthesia coverage if they desire.

Candidates will have exceptional interpersonal skills and have the ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams. Mentorship from our team of experienced physicians will be provided.

 Ascension St Thomas West is the busiest cardiac center in TN with the largest robotic cardiac surgery program. It is a center for advanced heart failure and heart transplant. A full range of mechanical circulatory support is provided.

The hospital has a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center and dedicated 14 bed neurological ICU.
