What You'll DoSimpliSafe is seeking a highly motivated, passionate CRM Manager who can own cross-channel marketing efforts in order to optimize conversion for one of the most important segments of our growing business. 

In this role, you will manage cross-channel marketing automation efforts, including email, direct mail and SMS channels, to convert leads to SimpliSafe customers. You will utilize your skills and passion to help make SimpliSafe best-in-class at production, testing, personalization, cross-channel integration and conversion. You will use your creativity, knowledge of best practices and analytical mindset to help develop testing roadmaps and work with ESP and analytics partners to build reporting and analyze key metrics of success. 

Primary responsibilities include

  • Own end to end planning and execution of cross-channel marketing automation campaigns 
  • Partner with Brand and Strategy teams to understand our target audience and translate insights into hypotheses that inform the creation of new multi-channel marketing tests
  • Oversee creative development with internal creative team to build creative that meets objectives and ensure on-time delivery 
  • Leverage customer segmentation insights to personalize communications in order to drive increased conversion rates and optimize ROI 
  • Help develop and integrate new marketing channels, including direct mail and SMS messaging 
  • Work with analytics partners to monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and document learnings from experiments
  • Partner with product managers to identify opportunities and implement functionality to improve messaging capabilities 
  • Use attention to detail and technical skills to assist team with creative review, QA, and finding technical solutions to make SimpliSafe best-in-class at CRM 
What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in CRM marketing; experience in e-commerce a plus
  • Hands-on executional experience working in ESPs; experience with Braze a plus
  • HTML/CSS knowledge and technical capabilities to build and QA/troubleshoot email programs; experience with Liquid Logic (or equivalent language) a plus
  • Data-driven mindset; comfortable analyzing relevant key metrics
  • A sharp eye for evaluating marketing creative and a passion for testing and optimizing communications
  • Strong interpersonal skills, as this role is highly collaborative in nature across the organization including copywriters, designers, analysts, and developers
  • Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills to prioritize multiple projects at once 
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven problem solver 
  • BA/BS degree (or equivalent work experience)
