Job Purpose:
The Manager, CRM will provide strategic guidance to internal stakeholders as it relates to the use of the Veeva and Salesforce CRM. In addition, they will identify and promote best practices for the management of the CRM platform.
Essential Functions:
- Engage with Sales and Marketing to understand each strategic initiative and corresponding data reporting needs, including CRM-generated insights, and bring structure to each request and translate those requirements into actionable solutions.
- Lead business requirements gathering sessions and work with the technical support team to build/implement system changes.
- Engage with various user groups to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement and maintain the CRM solution.
- Collaborate directly with internal and external stakeholders to inform the effectiveness of strategies.
- Maintain documentation as it relates to change control and provide CRM system administration support interface with the business.
- Collaborate with the internal training team and partners to design and facilitate user training.
- Database Management – responsible for working with technical resources on database queries, building controls, managing integrations, developing reports, and administration of relevant data integrations.
- Manage the flow of data to and from customer master and triage issues as they arise.
- Collaborate closely with other Sales Operations colleagues to help identify and inform the Sales Incentive Compensation Program by updating territory metrics and alignments as needed across related applications. Ensure the CRM solution is designed in a manner to capture/record information to inform key performance indicators (KPIs.)
- Collaborate with reporting team to build dashboards with Business Intelligence tools to visualize KPIs for specific customers, products, and/or promotions. This will involve pulling data into an actionable/user-friendly format to provide metrics and KPIs that provide value to Commercial Leadership.
- Collaborate with marketing on incorporating digital sales aids, CLM, approved email campaigns, and other digital tactical support in CRM as needed.
- Uncover potential strategic/tactical opportunities for implementation within the CRM.
- Ensure CRM is operating consistently with Kyowa Kirin compliance standards and in line with related regulations.
- Ensure the delivery of projects is within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost.
Job Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is required. Pharmaceutical or Biotech industries preferred.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills, and field sales training experience are essential.
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks.
- Must be highly proficient with Microsoft applications (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc.).
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Experience with CRM required (Salesforce & Veeva experience preferred).
Non-Technical Skills
Highly motivated with great attention to detail. Strong endurance to work under tight timelines and complex/changing situations. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent problem- solving skills. Broad level of interpersonal skills and flexibility. Focused on team-based work, while able to independently deliver within scope. Cultural sensitivity and ability to develop consensus within a multinational organization.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to travel domestically if projects require.
• Some international travel may be required.
• Lifting, typing, driving, sitting, special requirements around hours, etc.
