Responsibilities:

As a cryptoeconomics researcher you will participate in research on for example:

• Analyzing economics model incentive structures and financial mechanisms of Ethereum and its protocols.

• Risks associated with staking restaking and other blockchain-specific economic activities.

• MEV and related opportunities and threats.

• Flow analysis to understand market behaviors and trends

Additionally you will have the opportunity to

• Collaborate with development teams to suggest improvements to blockchain protocols based on research findings.

• Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in blockchain technology cryptoeconomics and finance ensuring that your research is current and relevant.

• Publish research papers reports and blog posts to share findings with the broader community enhancing the company's thought leadership in the space.

Skills:

• Foundation in economics finance and quantitative analysis with a deep understanding of blockchain technology and crypto-economics.

• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical modeling tools (e.g. Python R MATLAB).

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to a diverse audience.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Nice to Have:

• Advanced degree in Economics Finance Computer Science or a related field.

• Previous research experience in the field of crypto-economics or a related discipline.

• A portfolio of published research papers or articles on topics related to blockchain cryptoeconomics or financial technology.

• Active participation in blockchain communities and familiarity with the latest discussions and trends in the cryptoeconomics space.
