As a Culinary Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the culinary operations at our flagship communities in Texas. Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the culinary team to deliver outstanding food quality and service in alignment with Grand Brook Memory Care's commitment to personalized care. - Develop and execute menu planning strategies that cater to the unique dietary needs and preferences of residents living with memory impairment. - Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas. - Supervise food production processes, including ordering ingredients, monitoring inventory levels, and maintaining cost-effective practices. - Collaborate with the management team to enhance resident satisfaction through innovative culinary offerings and exceptional dining experiences. - Provide mentorship and training to culinary staff on best practices in culinary techniques, restaurant management, and customer service. Requirements: - Proven experience in a leadership role within the culinary industry, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting. - Strong background in food service management, menu planning, food safety protocols, and culinary operations. - Knowledge of supervisory practices to effectively lead a team of culinary professionals. - Understanding of regulatory requirements related to food handling, sanitation, and safety standards. - Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, families, staff members, and vendors professionally. - Ability to adapt to changing priorities, solve practical problems efficiently, and maintain a positive work environment. - High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or degrees in culinary arts or hospitality management are advantageous.
