Job Overview **THIS JOB IS IDEAL FOR CANDIDATE THAT HAS A FULL TIME/ PART TIME JOB DURNG THE DAY ** We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on both commercial and residential spaces. Duties • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces. • Carry out janitorial duties such as restroom sanitation, waste disposal, and replenishing supplies. • Conduct floor care activities including buffing, waxing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness. • Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. • Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to management. • Engage in porter duties when necessary, helping with the movement of furniture or equipment within the facility. • Maintain an organized storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment. Qualifications • Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred. • Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and best practices is a plus. • Familiarity with floor care methods including buffing and waxing is desirable. • Experience in residential painting or facilities maintenance is beneficial. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. • Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards service delivery.
