Job Description
The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean environment in and around the center as set forth by distribution operations.
This is a Full Time position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Must be available to work each scheduled shift and report to work on time.
• Vacuum, dust, sweep, mop, polish, sanitize, wash, and wipe all furniture, facilities and equipment.
• Responsible for assigned areas to include inside and outside facility.
• Trash removal
• Safe handling of all chemicals and cleaning agents
• Assist in Furniture Handling responsibilities as needed
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ ENVIRONMENT:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job, employees are frequently required to stand and walk for extended periods. Regular use of hands and arms to reach for merchandise is required. Regular communication through listening and talking is also required. Ability to move furniture up to 50 lbs alone and up to 150 lbs with assistance.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure the highest degree of cleanliness in center is consistently maintained.
• Assist and be aware of the safety and security of the location
• Understand and adhere to Company Policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook and Policy and Procedures manual
• Any other duties or responsibilities as required by management
