Custom Cabinet Maker

We are seeking a skilled Custom Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in all phases of cabinetry and millwork. Proficient with hand tools, power tools and reading/understanding shop drawings/blueprints. Duties and Responsibilities: • Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints for cabinet design, Cabnetware and Cabinet Vision. • Process wood parts for assembly by measuring, cutting, sanding and shaping according to specifications. • Utilize hand tools for the assembly of cabinets and fixtures. • Install components in wood cabinets according to instructions. • Install hardware on cabinets as instructed. • Collaborate with team members for successful quality completion of projects. • Ensure quality craftsmanship in all cabinet making tasks. • Clean and maintain work areas in accordance with safety standards • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications: • Minimum 5-10 years of cabinetry and woodworking experience required. • Proficiency in all phases of cabinetry and millwork. • Proficient with power tools (ie: table saws, drill press, etc.), setup and maintenance. • Knowledge of safety protocols. • Provide references of work experience required. Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand all day. • Ability to infrequently lift up to 80 pounds, bend, twist, squat, kneel and lift (both lateral and overhead) • Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts produced • Effectively provide and receive communication Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • Paid time off Work Location: In person
