We are currently seeking a skilledCustom Cabinet Installeron a contract basis for an upcoming installation. Job Description We are looking for an experienced and reliableCustom Cabinet Installerfor the installation of custom cabinetry for our client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cabinet installation and trim work, possess the necessary tools, vehicle, and commitment to high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities and Requirements: • Education: High school diploma, some college, or a trade school diploma is preferred. • Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in carpentry, including roles such as trim carpenter, finish carpenter, cabinet installer, millwork installer, or a similar trade. Leadership experience is preferred. • Skills: Proficient in using various hand and power tools, including saws, routers, nail guns, and other industry-specific tools. Must have own tools. • Physical Requirements: Must be physically fit with no existing injuries and able to lift 50-75 lbs. Will assist with unloading of cabinets and assemble on-site. • License & Transport: Clean driving record, valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. • Background Checks: Must pass a criminal background check. • Work Quality: Strong attention to detail with a solution-oriented mindset, able to troubleshoot and ensure precise, professional installations are completed on time. • Reading Plans: Ability to read 2D plans, follow directions, and communicate effectively with clients and team members. • Independent Work: Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and maintain high-quality craftsmanship. • Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with owner and designer. • Environment: Able to work in various residential and commercial locations. • Availability:Must be flexible. Contract Work Agreement: • Pay: Competitive pay based on experience. • Contract Duration: This is a contract-based position with potential for all future work. • Benefits: As this is a contract role, benefits are not included; however, competitive pay rates and flexibility in work schedules are offered.
