A leading provider of custom injection molding solutions for various industries is seeking an experienced custom molding sales person to join our team and help sell our engineering and manufacturing services to companies located in the domestic US. This role pays a combination of salary and incentives and the mroe experience you bring to the table within the custom plastic product space, the more up-front compensation we can secure for you as we are looking for experienced, top-talent to service our customer base and improve our sales.
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Custom Injection Molding Salesperson to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custom injection molded product sales, business-to-business (B2B) sales, and lead generation. This role is crucial in driving our company's growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and promoting our custom injection molding services to a diverse range of industries.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Execution:
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in various industries that can benefit from custom injection molding solutions
• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and materials that showcase our injection molding capabilities
• Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly
• Conduct regular client meetings to understand their evolving needs and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery of custom injection molded products
B2B Lead Generation:
• Develop and implement effective lead generation strategies to identify potential clients in need of custom injection molding services
• Utilize various channels, including networking events, trade shows, online platforms, and industry associations to generate quality leads
• Qualify leads and prioritize prospects based on their potential value and likelihood of conversion
• Maintain an organized database of leads and prospects, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
• Guide potential clients through the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to project completion
• Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and propose tailored injection molding solutions
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that highlight our capabilities and competitive advantages
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure new business while maintaining profitability
Technical Knowledge and Consultation:
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of custom injection molding processes, materials, and technologies
• Provide expert advice to clients on material selection, design optimization, and manufacturing processes
• Collaborate with our engineering team to address technical inquiries and develop innovative solutions for complex client requirements
• Stay updated on industry advancements and emerging technologies in injection molding
