Custom Van Builder
Status: Full-time, direct hire opportunity
Overview:
Our client is a rapidly growing, San Diego-based company redefining life on the road through the design and construction of premium custom adventure vans. Each build is thoughtfully crafted with luxury finishes, off-grid systems, and bespoke cabinetry—offering the perfect blend of style, function, and freedom. These vans are designed to take their owners anywhere, from scenic coastlines to rugged backcountry adventures.
We’re looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Van Builder with proven experience in the industry. At this time, only candidates withrelevant industry experiencewill be considered.

Schedule:Four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime and occasional weekend work as needed. 40 hours/week +
Compensation:$25-35/hour, DOE
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with our skilled build team to deliver high-quality, custom van conversions.
• Design, build, and install custom cabinetry, shelving, and storage solutions tailored to luxury van interiors.
• Partner with the design team and clients to transform creative concepts into functional, refined finished builds.
• Apply advanced woodworking tools and precision fabrication techniques to create accurate, durable components (experience with CAD design a plus).
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure precise dimensions and seamless integration.
• Select and apply premium materials and finishes that balance aesthetics with long-term performance.
• Maintain a clean, organized workshop while ensuring tools and equipment are used safely and efficiently.
• Manage project timelines effectively, working both independently and in close collaboration with team members.
Qualifications:
• Must have experience with custom van building
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in carpentry, cabinetry, and custom woodworking
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.

Compensation for roles at Suna Solutions varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific client, office or remote location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Suna Solutions provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that Suna Solutions reasonably expects to pay for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington
