Key Responsibilities:
β’ Conduct Initial Damage Assessments Over the Phone
Engage customers in detailed conversations to gather key information about their property damage. Use guided questioning to help assess the extent and nature of the issue based on their descriptions.
β’ Review and Interpret Customer-Submitted Photos
Receive and evaluate photos sent by customers via email or text to supplement the verbal information collected during calls. Help translate visual evidence into actionable insights for the restoration team.
β’ Guide Customers Through the Restoration Process by Phone
Clearly explain next steps, expectations, timelines, and documentation requirements. Offer reassurance and direction throughout the entire customer journey to reduce stress and uncertainty.
β’ Relay Customer Information to Field Teams
Document all conversations in the system accurately and promptly. Coordinate with field staff to ensure that customer needs, priorities, and updates are clearly communicated and acted upon.
β’ Deliver Outstanding Service During Every Call
Maintain a professional, friendly, and empathetic tone during every interaction. Build trust and strengthen customer relationships by actively listening, resolving issues, and offering knowledgeable support.
β’ Manage Scheduling and Follow-Up Calls
Schedule inspections, service appointments, and follow-ups. Proactively reach out to customers for updates, reminders, and post-service check-ins to ensure satisfaction and identify any ongoing concerns.
Qualifications:
β’ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
β’ Ability to remain empathetic and calm in stressful situations.
β’ Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
β’ Experience in customer service or a similar role (preferred but not required).
β’ Basic understanding of property restoration or a willingness to learn.
