Customer Service Representative – Logistics
About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Customer Service Representative to support our logistics operations. This role involves frequent interaction with clients and internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient customer experience. Core responsibilities include managing email communications, scheduling appointments, performing data entry, and relaying important customer requests and changes to the appropriate team members. You will play a key role in helping our transportation and warehousing services run seamlessly by ensuring timely, accurate, and professional communication across all channels.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in customer service or a related role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Comfortable with data entry and working with digital systems
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field
• Experience in the transportation or warehousing industry
• Familiarity with logistics and scheduling software
Responsibilities:
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner
• Schedule appointments and coordinate changes with both customers and internal teams
• Accurately enter and maintain customer data, appointment details, and service updates in our systems
• Communicate customer requests, updates, and service changes clearly to the operations team
• Resolve customer issues with a focus on efficiency and satisfaction
• Maintain thorough and organized records of interactions, transactions, and service updates
• Collaborate with other departments to support timely and accurate deliveriesIdentify opportunities to improve customer service and operational workflows

Skills:
To excel in this role, you should be customer-focused, highly organized, and a clear communicator and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with our clients. A strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks includingemail responses, data input, and appointment coordinationare essential. Experience in a logistics environment is a plus, but a proactive mindset and commitment to service excellence are what matter most. Additionally, your familiarity with logistics software and systems, if applicable, will be beneficial in identifying opportunities to improve customer service processes and procedures.
