Job Description

What You'll Get to Do:
  • Lead a network security team to perform the tasks required to secure a network that stretches across the globe.
  • Inject new technologies and best practices as the team implements a new network design.


More About the Role:

Lead a security team to perform the tasks required to:
  • Engineer security into the network o Review new Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures and assess whether the network is at risk
  • Engineer network protections
  • Operate and maintain a network that stretches across the globe
  • Recommend security best practices and system configuration standards
  • Advise the team on security architecture best practices
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate security Concept of Operations (CONOPS), System Security Plans (SSP) and to satisfy Assessment and Authorization (A&A) requirements in accordance with NIST 800-53, FISMA, Risk Management Framework (RMF) and other government guidelines, as required
  • Conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
  • Maintain a broad knowledge of technology, equipment and/or systems to include the DevSecOps tools available in AWS GovCloud


You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 7-10 years of relative experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Excellent understanding of network devices and network security best practices
  • DevSecOps experience in cloud environment
  • Experience with the A&A process and documentation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, analytical problem-solving ability, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills in technical, business, and client interactions
  • Experience working in a dynamic and collaborative environment
  • Security+
  • Secret Clearance or able to obtain a Secret Clearance.


These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • DevSecOps experience in cloud environment using tools such as GitLab/Hub and Jenkins
  • Experience using Atlassian tools - Confluence, JIRA
  • Experience working with virtualized network devices in the cloud AWS or other cloud certification such as Solutions Architect

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $79,000-$161,900. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
