Cyber Security Analyst

This position requires to be working in office, 3 - 4 days per week, from our Bala Cynwyd, PA office. We are looking for a cybersecurity analyst to join our dynamic team and help us safeguard our digital assets. Job Summary The Cybersecurity Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents and threats. This role involves identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities: • Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. • Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of systems and data. • Follow standard operating procedures on incident handling, event research and resolution as well as defense in depth procedures. • Develop security runbooks for all security operational procedures associated with threat hunting, defense in depth, basic security operations activities and even/alert triage. • Escalate and respond timely to • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization. • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of security measures with business operations. • Stay up to date with the latest security trends, technologies, and threats, and recommend improvements to enhance security posture. • Provide training and support to employees on security awareness and best practices. • Respond to security breaches and incidents, conducting investigations and implementing corrective actions. • Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, findings, and recommendations for management. • Perform identity and access management tasks from time to time in accordance with standard operating procedures. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. OR relevant experience • 1-3 years' experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or similar technical role. • Strong knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, and network security. • Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners. • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., CIS, ITSM, ITIL). • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
