Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will play a key role in protecting our digital infrastructure, identifying security vulnerabilities, and responding to cyber threats. Working closely with both IT and security teams, you will help implement robust security policies, conduct risk assessments, and proactively address emerging threats. Key Responsibilities
• Contribute to the development and implementation of cybersecurity best practices, in alignment with industry standards such as NIST, SOC 2, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Continuously monitor networks and systems to detect potential security incidents and respond swiftly to threats.
• Configure and manage various security tools, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection platforms.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate potential risks.
• Partner with IT teams to enhance the organization’s security posture through timely patching and system updates.
• Stay up to date on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends, and recommend proactive defense strategies.
• Assist with internal and external security audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
• Lead or support security awareness initiatives to foster a security-first culture across the organization.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of core security principles, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM tools, and data encryption.
• Experience with vulnerability management and penetration testing techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess, prioritize, and mitigate security risks.
• Industry certifications such as Security+, CEH, or similar are a plus but not required.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $83,826.23 - $112,995.02 per year
