Description:Agile5 Technologies is seeking a skilled and experiencedCybersecurity Analystto perform in-depth analysis of logs, events, and data collected from a variety of security tools. This role requires a professional with a strong background in automating processes through scripting, assessing impacts from identified risks, and effectively presenting findings to the chain of command. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a meticulous approach to security analysis.
Cybersecurity AnalystJob Duties:
•
Conduct analysis of logs and events to identify potential security threats.
•
Utilize various data collection tools to support security investigations.
•
Automate security processes through scripting to improve efficiency.
•
Assess the impact of observed risks and vulnerabilities.
•
Present findings and recommendations to the chain of command.
•
Participate in incident response activities as required.
Security Clearance Requirements:Active DoD Secret (S) required. Candidates must already possess this clearance level upon applying.
Experience Requirements: Requires three (3) years of professional experience performing analysis of logs and events, and of various data collection tools. This includes experience automating processes through scripting, assessing impacts from observed risks, and presenting findings through the chain of command.
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, other related discipline, or equivalent experience; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Desired Skills / Qualifications:Experience with process automation and risk assessment is highly desirable. Certifications such asCAP, GSLC, Security+, and CEare preferred.
Location: On-site in Philadelphia, PA.
Status: Full time
Schedule: Day shift, Monday–Friday
Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long durations of time. Also, must be able to continuously operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
Travel Required: No
