Scope of Service: • Providing customer service and security presence on light rail trains • Enforcing the DART Code of Conduct • Coverage of all designated security post; • Conducting foot and vehicle security patrols; • Assisting, reporting and cooperating with DART Police regrading any crime; • Providing information and reports to DART and any law enforcement agency for "Reported Crimes" so the proper follow-up can be completed; • Retaining control of all property as directed by DART in consultation with DART Police; • Fare inspection, to include but not limit to: • DART Fare Policy and providing fare inspection; • Conducting fare inspections and "fare inspection saturations" on the light rail system to ensure customers have valid fare media while riding the train, or when standing within designated fare zones. • Conducting fare inspection on buses at DART facilities such as Transit Centers, Parking Garages and Park-and-Ride facilities along the alignment. • Performing any additional security duties based on the level of training as assigned by the dart Project Manager. Qualification: • Military Service with honorable DD214 OR • Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice. OR • Associate degree in law enforcement or criminal justice with CURRENT or prior active military service OR • Graduation from a certified public safety in law enforcement, adult corrections or firefighting Additional Requirement: • Must passPhysical Examconducted by a designated licensed Physician. • Psychological Exam
