TheRisk Adjustment Analystsupports the Risk Adjustment Decision Support team by providing professional assistance, project management, and recommendations on business needs. The position is responsible for providing basic analysis skills, monitoring organizational performance to plan, identifying factors to determine and recommend areas of business development and enhancement, and developing clear action plans to drive processes.
If you reside near San Antonio, TX, you will enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid-remote role as you take on some tough challenges. You will be required to come onsite three times per week. Standard business hours.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Maintains systematic reporting/analysis processes and procedures to ensure timely delivery of daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and ad hoc reports/analyses to support key departmental and corporate initiatives
• Manages RADS Mailbox created to support reporting/tool users, answer questions about metrics or other risk adjustment analytics related topics that customers come forward with
• Serves as the liaison between departments, markets and IT for all Risk Adjustment reporting needs. Works with developer to troubleshoot errors and data inconsistencies and communicates resolutions to issues as directed by self, staff, regional market leadership, and corporate management
• Acts as a single point of contact for assigned Risk Adjustment programs and projects, as warranted. Plans, develops, implements and evaluates programs and projects, coordinates business goals and objectives, collaborates with project team members, develops measurable project goals and objectives and monitors progress to completion. Facilitates communication between team members and identifies and coordinates assignment of internal and external resources to meet project requirements
• Conducts project meetings to include meeting regularly with project team to review deliverables and deadlines. Responsible for developing and updating various types of project documentation such as communication plans, project schedules, issue logs, etc.
• Responsible for documenting and updating changes to workflow, training plans, policies and procedures, as directed
• Performs business analysis using appropriate project tools to help support Risk Adjustment Operations
• Coordinates/facilitates meetings; prepares draft agendas for review with VP; issues agendas with appropriate backup materials; sets up mega meeting; takes minutes, and provides follow-up correspondence
• Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
• 2+ years of data analysis, reporting or healthcare operations experience
• Advanced level of PC proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Outlook, SharePoint, Business Maps, Microsoft Project)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, or other quantitative discipline
• Healthcare experience
• quality / risk adjustment experience
• Possession of strong analytical skills used in evaluating and analyzing data
• Experience in creating dashboards and reporting visualization using Tableau
• Coding experience to include SAS, SQL, Python and/or R
• Experience utilizing databases and data management
• Ability to interact one-on-one and consult with all levels of leadership
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $58,800 to $105,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
