Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst / Automation Developer to join our team within IBM CIC UK. In this role you will be responsible for analyzing and processing large data sets identifying trends and insights and developing automation solutions to improve business processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis programming and automation tools with a passion for leveraging technology to drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities:
* Analyze and process large data sets to identify trends patterns and insights that can inform business decisions.
* Develop and maintain data storage solutions and other data storage solutions to support business intelligence and analytics.
* Create and maintain automated reports dashboards and other visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
* Develop and implement automation solutions using various tools and technologies such as excel automation Power BI Python RPA and SQL to streamline business processes and improve efficiency.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop custom solutions that meet their needs.
* Ensure data quality integrity and security by following best practices and adhering to company policies and standards.
* Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data analysis automation and business intelligence and apply this knowledge to improve processes and outcomes.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Information Systems Statistics Mathematics or a related field.
* At least 2 years of experience in data analysis automation or a related field.
* Strong programming skills in languages such as Python R or SQL.
* Experience with automation tools and technologies such as RPA UIPath Blue Prism or WatsonX.
* Strong understanding of data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau Power BI or QlikView.
* Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL Oracle or SQL Server.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with large data sets.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems such as Git.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
* Experience working with cloud-based platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
* Familiarity with machine learning or artificial intelligence tools and technologies.
* Experience working with DevOps tools and practices such as Jenkins Docker or Kubernetes.
* Certification in data analysis automation or a related field
