The Data Analyst is a non-supervisory position that performs administrative work of average difficulty. The Analyst reviews and monitors resident supportive services programs production reports to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. The analyst also performs data analysis and recommends policy changes to managers to improve department processes.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Essential Duties + ResponsibilitiesThe position duties and responsibilities listed below describe the general nature and scope of work. Other responsibilities, duties, and skills may be required and assigned as needed. These essential functions require a consistent presence in the work environment on a regular basis, and regular attendance must be maintained. Achieve expert knowledge of all data tools and develop training materials for department staff.Maintains key data for each program and initiative.Assist with data for Board presentations.Recommends new procedures, systems and process improvements resulting from reporting or transactions review or regulation changes.Responds to inquiries from management in order to answer general and/or specific questions regarding resident supportive services programs.Formulates weekly, monthly, quarterly, and other reports relating to department production and workflow. Composes correspondence and reports for the management team as needed. Maintains a working knowledge of policies and procedures as established by HUD and/or Opportunity Home. Maintains a working knowledge of all resident supportive services programs and Moving-to-Work (MTW) programs.Manages client’s file integrity in accordance with privacy and confidentiality laws and regulations. Ensures that the programs remain in good standing with MTW and HUD requirements and that all production by the department is within policies and procedures. Audits overall production of the department to ensure compliance with auditors.Assists management in developing, compiling, and implementing training or new hire training.Complete all duties as assigned or requested as outlined in operational and procedural guidelines. These guidelines are maintained and issued in the event of an emergency situation that arises at a property or any other location that serves our residents or employees. Participate in Trauma Informed Care (TIC) initiatives to include training, workgroups, project assignments, etc., that are launched or implemented in order to achieve and/or maintain certification as a TIC organization.Recognize the significance of a data-driven organization that adheres to expanded policies and practices in the area of data governance. Learn the distinct and different roles to include: Data Trustees, Data Domain Stewards, Data System Custodians, Data Stewards, and Data Users.
