About Us:
At Vibrant, we leverage cutting-edge machine learning (ML) and large language model (LLM) technologies to solve real-world challenges and drive innovation. Our growing data science team is looking for a passionate and skilled Mid-Level ML/LLM Data Analyst to join us as we continue to push the boundaries of AI and data-driven decision-making.
Role Overview:
As aMid-Level ML/LLM Data Analyst, you will take a hands-on approach to working with machine learning models, particularly LLMs, to enhance our data processing capabilities and develop new AI-powered features. You’ll play a key role in extracting valuable insights from data, training models, and deploying scalable ML solutions. This role is perfect for someone with prior experience in data analysis and ML who is ready to take on more responsibility and contribute to the full lifecycle of ML/LLM projects.
What You’ll Do:
• Data Analysis and Preparation: Work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze large datasets, ensuring data is cleaned, transformed, and prepared for model training.
• Model Development: Design, fine-tune, and implement ML and LLM models for specific business use cases, leveraging frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
• Model Evaluation: Evaluate and interpret model performance using appropriate metrics, adjusting parameters and optimizing models for improved accuracy and efficiency.
• LLM Integration: Help integrate LLMs into existing products and services, enhancing natural language understanding and improving user experiences.
• Production Deployment: Deploy machine learning models to production environments, monitoring their performance and ensuring they operate reliably and efficiently.
• Data Storytelling: Present findings, insights, and model results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights.
• Collaboration and Mentorship: Collaborate with senior data scientists, software engineers, and data engineers on larger projects, while also mentoring junior team members.
• Research and Innovation: Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in ML, LLMs, and AI, and suggest innovative approaches to tackle emerging challenges.
Who You Are:
• Educational Background: BS or MS in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Professional Experience: 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, ML, NLP, or similar fields, with a strong understanding of ML and LLM techniques.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch. Experience with NLP libraries and tools, as well as data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Plotly).
• Data Handling: Experience working with large datasets, data preprocessing, feature engineering, and handling unstructured data.
• Problem Solver: Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and improve ML model performance.
• Communication: Able to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaboration: Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and contributing to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Attention to Detail: Demonstrates attention to detail in both analysis and communication, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Bonus Skills:
• Experience with distributed training of large models and GPU-based processing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure for ML model deployment.
• Knowledge of LLM-related techniques like transformers, embeddings, and fine-tuning models such as BERT, GPT, or similar.
• Experience with MLOps or tools for automating ML workflows and model lifecycle management.
What We Offer:
• Collaborative Environment: Work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment with data scientists, engineers, and product teams.
• Comprehensive Benefits: We offer competitive salaries, health insurance coverage, retirement plans, and more.
• Diverse Culture: Be part of an inclusive company culture that celebrates diverse perspectives and experiences.
If you’re passionate about machine learning, LLMs, and driving innovation through data, we encourage you to apply!
