Key Responsibilities
• Identify and integrate new data sources by collaborating with application owners and securing appropriate access.
• Performdata integration from non-SQL systems into SQL databases, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
• Create and manage automated processes to maintaindata veracity, data velocity, and reliability.
• Define technical requirements for integrating analytics and visualization tools such asPower BIandStreamlit.
• Design, develop, and deployautomated Power BI dashboardswithrow-level security (RLS)usingActive Directoryauthentication.
• Conductdata validationandKPI parity checksagainst legacy reports; investigate and resolve any discrepancies or deltas.
• Optimize Power BI performance throughmodel tuning, DAX optimization, and query reduction techniques.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation includingdata dictionaries, DAX/measure catalogs, refresh schedules, RLS procedures, and runbooks.
• Leadknowledge transfer sessionsand provide detailed handovers to internal teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Science, IT, and Business Analytics to align deliverables with organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum7+ years of relevant experiencein data analysis, data integration, and reporting.
• Strong proficiency withSQLand relational database design.
• Experience withdata extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)from multiple structured and unstructured sources.
• Proven hands-on experience withPower BI, including DAX, RLS, and performance tuning.
• Working knowledge ofPython, Streamlit, or related scripting/visualization tools is a plus.
• Deep understanding ofdata governance, data integrity, and data validation principles.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills with the ability to work in a hybrid, team-based environment.
Preferred Skills
• Experience collaborating withData ScientistsandMachine Learning Engineerson analytical and predictive projects.
• Exposure toAzure,AWS, or other cloud data ecosystems.
• Knowledge ofActive Directoryintegration andenterprise data securitypractices.
