We are looking for a Data & Analytics Developer to join us in creating solutions which enable business using facts to follow up the business performance and predict future business conditions with the help of data. 

You will work in Packaging Solutions Data Services team and report to its Team Lead. You will be located in our office in Ostrava, Czechia.

About the position 

As a Data & Analytics Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining analytics and reporting solutions. You’re working with modern Cloud technologies and build BI on top of Power BI. You will work as a part of Data Services team where we deliver value to our business by utilizing Agile methodologies and tools.

Who we are looking for

At Packaging Solutions, we look for people who are willing to act, we dare to leave our comfort zone and we are eager to drive business growth. We are looking for a person, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You have a solution-oriented mindset and practical working methods leading to concrete outcomes.

Furthermore, you are self-driven and able to communicate across all levels of the organization and work with diverse projects teams. You have preferably some experience in developing data solutions and you are proficient in using SQL and DAX languages. You communicate fluently in English and you´re an excellent team player.
 

Skills and qualifications needed in the role: 

• Previous experience working as a data engineer or a data analyst

• Hands on knowledge from Power BI or other BI tools

• Proficient in SQL 

• Understanding of manufacturing industry processes

• Degree in information management and data analytics or equivalent

• Snowflake and dbt knowledge are seen meritorious

• Ability to learn new technology quickly and keep yourself updated independently on the constantly changing tool portal 

• Interest to learn manufacturing industry processes 

• English B2 level and higher
