Job Description

Job Title:Data Center Business Analyst Salary:$80,000-105,000 Contract Length:6 Months Location:Dallas, TX - 3 days in office role, location could vary within DFW areas. • This represents the potential salary range for this position depending on education level, years of experience and/or certifications in addition to other position specific requirements which may impact salary Overview Primary responsibilities of the DC Business Analyst will include various project documentation, analysis, managing the Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) Tool and creating JIRA stories. This candidate will also be responsible for working closely with the Data Center Project and Operations Team for different analyses involved. Responsibilities • Understand and maintain the DCIM Tools used in Data Centers. • Document project details, technical requirements and nonfunctional requirements, as applicable. • Document and understand current operational processes, identify issues and discover improvement opportunities. • Document MOPs; work with stakeholders to plan and list down the specific steps needed for a release. • Assist with project planning, management, and scope control throughout the project. • Develop and implement reporting tools, dashboards, and data visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and support decision-making. • Perform other project or operational duties as assigned such as creating JIRA tickets, Send MoM, follow ups and maintaining documentation on Confluence and other MS Office tools. • Be able to travel to various locations as needed for project needs. Qualifications • Prior Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) experience. • Work efficiently and independently - applying analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills to support day-to-day operations and project work. • Ability to travel to other facilities is required. • Working knowledge and experience with JIRA, Confluence, Project, and Visio. • Ability to align project tasks and technical solutions with the business requirements. • Proactive and able to work independently. • Must be able to multi-task effectively. • Strong organizational skills. • Excellent communication skills. • Strong collaboration and troubleshooting skills.
