We are currently seeking a Data Center Technician to join our team in maryland heights, Missouri (US-MO), United States (US).

The Data Center Team is responsible for overall Data Center Management in Maryland Heights, MO.

This position will work 8-hour shifts on-site Tuesday-Saturday. Must be flexible to occasionally cover for teammates on Sundays.

Role Responsibilities

• Acts as first level support for Data Center operations owned hardware.

• Provides the highest level of support within data center operations.
• Intermediate hardware (break/fix), troubleshooting connectivity issues and replacement hardware components.
• Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of data center equipment.
• Installation / De-installation of hardware, cabling and maintaining of database.
• Experience decommissioning devices, rack and stack and running cables.
• May provide direction and guidance to other team members while continuing to provide day-to-day support.
• Controls data center inventory.
• Captures and reports metrics to leadership
• Plans and coordinate with facilities, cross functional teams and vendors to ensure appropriate data center capacity / scalability.
• Full Time Position in a Dynamic 24x7x365 organization.
• This position will include rotating weekends and holidays and on-call.

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Center Operations
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Additional skills

• Excels at recognizing internal and external client's needs and expectations.
• Good records management and inventory control skills.
• Good understanding of server and storage hardware.
• Good understanding of networking hardware and structured cabling.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
