The Data, Analytics & Tools (DAT) group is responsible for ensuring that the Commercial Bank's Business Process tool investments result in better client experience, internal process efficiencies and leverage data to provide client insights and opportunities. The Data Operations Senior Associate will be responsible for supporting the daily processing of data for business finance reporting across multiple platform applications.
You will work closely with teams in the US and India to manage BAU processes related to monitoring of Data Ingestion and Delivery with emphasis on ensuring completeness and accuracy. You will engage with Tech and Business partners to solve impacts and communicate issue status and resolution to impacted consumers. Focused support for Enterprise Data Hub (EDH), Master Data Management (MDM), Crescendo Knowledge Graph (CKG), and consuming applications (Qlik, Data Services) as part of the overall Crescendo Platform in the Data & Analytics Tools for Commercial Bank's Digital Data & Product organization. In addition, you will analyze internal processes for efficiencies and automation as part of team that encourages innovations and problem solving.
You will bring an entrepreneurial mindset to the role as they will be challenged to continue to learn and expand on their role as the team takes on expanded responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Monitor and manage data feeds for daily processing, safeguarding data completeness and accuracy.
  • Build working relationships with business finance stakeholders and technology teams across the platform to ensure SLAs are met.
  • Identify/analyze performance and data quality related impacts to the daily processing of deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Communicate data related impacts to reporting, engaging the necessary teams to drive issue resolution.
  • Analyze BAU operational processes and identify opportunities for efficiencies/automation
  • Execute controls to mitigate operational process gaps and risks and ensure data Completeness and Accuracy

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

 

 

  • BS/BA degree in Business Finance or Process Engineering fields
  • 2 + years of experience executing against established Operating Models spanning business lines within the financial service industry to deliver data for management reporting and analysis
  • Ability to adapt and adopt to a changing business landscape
  • Ability to focus on the key issues and drive initiatives to conclusion
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

 

 

  • Demonstrated experience with Structured Query Language (SQL), Big Data platforms
  • Understanding of Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Qlik, Alteryx)
  • Understanding of Core Controls related to data management and safe-guarding
