Data Engineering Intern

EnergyHub empowers utilities and their customers to create a clean, distributed energy future. The Data Engineering Intern will join EnergyHub for a 10 week internship where they will be responsible for building data pipelines allowing us to generate analytics needed for reports and modeling. This opportunity will allow for collaboration with internal and external team members and mentorship from team leads and colleagues.

• Work with our Engineering teams on mission-driven projects that help address issues in the energy grid 
• Generate reports on an ad hoc basis for various clients
• Improve data quality through testing, tooling, and automation

• Python programing knowledge preferred, but if you have any experience in an object oriented programming language you’d be a match!
• Some knowledge of SQL
• Any experience with mongo is a plus, but not required for this position
• Self motivated with a strong desire to learn
• Good written and verbal communication skills
