Data Governance Lead

Introduction
As a Package Consultant at IBM get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills business knowledge and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients’ business environment and achieve business results.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Strategic Data & Migration Leadership:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive data migration strategy for SAP Hybrid (also named as Selective Data Transition Bluefield Rapid Move) projects using SNP CrystalBridge platform.
• Lead the ANZ data migration team motivating and mentoring team members across different locations.
• Collaborate closely with the all IBM Rapid Move Experts across the globe including our India CIC to ensure alignment.
• Collaborate closely with the client’s lead to ensure alignment and address their concerns.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders through periodic reports and presentations highlighting milestones progress and potential risks.
• Implement an early warning system to proactively identify and address any potential delays in the migration timeline.

Technical Data Migration Expertise:

• Define data mapping rules and transformations for SAP Hybrid (also named as Selective Data Transition Bluefield Rapid Move) projects.
• Oversee data cleansing and quality improvement activities ensuring accurate and consistent data in the new system.
• Design and implement robust testing procedures to guarantee data integrity and functionality after migration.
• Manage data security and compliance throughout the migration process.

Project Management & Communication:

• Develop and maintain detailed project documentation including data migration plans reports and procedures.
• Monitor project progress against timelines and budgets proactively mitigating risks and managing deviations.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization keeping everyone informed about progress challenges and decisions.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Hybrid data migration projects.
• Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA data migration using SNP tools.
• Strong understanding of SAP ECC data structures and Finance processes.
• Solid knowledge of data modeling cleansing and quality management techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication collaboration and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines.
• Experience working in a fast-paced and agile environment.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Familiar with SAP standard migration tools
• Deep SNP CrystalBridge Knowledge
• Deep Knowledge in newGL and Business Partner migration in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA via SNP CrystalBridge
