Cyber Operations and Data Leakage Protection is part of the broader Cyber Operations team within the Chief Security Office. In this role, you will be required to take full ownership of monitoring and analysing sensitive data activities across the organization. You will leverage your anticipatory mindset and will need a keen eye for detail. To be successful as a Data Leak Protection Analyst, you should have experience with: β€’ Investigating Tier 1 incidents, documenting, and reporting findings, execute incident response, and prioritizing urgent incidents for escalation β€’ Communicating effectively, writing, and verbal skills for documentation, incident reporting, and team collaboration β€’ Prioritizing tasks efficiently, with sound judgment to escalate issues when necessary for timely resolution β€’ Working independently, making decisions confidently and staying accountable without direct supervision Other highly valued skills include: β€’ Proficiency in electronic communications, including regular use of email and internet-based tools β€’ Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels β€’ Awareness of data leakage threats, along with a solid understanding of mitigation strategies and best practices You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills. This role is located in Whippany, NJ office. Minimum Salary: $80,000 Maximum Salary: $120,000 The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available. This position is eligible for an incentive award. Purpose of the role To monitor the performance of operational controls, implement and manage security controls and consider lessons learnt in order to protect the bank from potential cyber-attacks and respond to threats. Accountabilities β€’ Management of security monitoring systems, including intrusive prevention and detection systems, to alert, detect and block potential cyber security incidents, and provide a prompt response to restore normal operations with minimised system damage. β€’ Identification of emerging cyber security threats, attack techniques and technologies to detect/prevent incidents, and collaborate with networks and conferences to gain industry knowledge and expertise. β€’ Management and analysis of security information and event management systems to collect, correlate and analyse security logs, events and alerts/potential threats. β€’ Triage of data loss prevention alerts to identify and prevent sensitive data for being exfiltrated from the banks network. β€’ Management of cyber security incidents including remediation & driving to closure.
