Role Overview

We’re seeking a Data Scientist with 1–3 years of experience who excels at both exploratory analysis and model development. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams—such as marketing, product, and operations—to conduct ad hoc analyses, uncover insights through EDA, and occasionally build production-ready models. 

Key Responsibilities

• Data Exploration & Analysis: Investigate diverse datasets to extract insights, spot trends, and guide strategic decisions.
• Ad Hoc Reporting: Deliver quick-turnaround analyses and reports to address immediate business questions.
• Model Development & Deployment: When needed, design predictive models (e.g., customer segmentation, churn forecasting) and oversee their deployment.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with stakeholders to interpret findings, recommend actions, and present results in clear, actionable terms.

Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years of experience in data science or machine learning roles.
• Strong foundation in statistics and machine learning.
• Data Stack: Python, Jupyter Notebook, Redshift, AWS SageMaker, Metabase
• Comfortable with SQL and data preparation/querying.Understanding MLOps and model deployment.
• Interest or experience in finance and/or sports analytics.
• Bonus: Knowledge of econometrics.
