Job Description

MAXISIQ is seeking a Data Scientist to support customer data collection and collection gaps, and help prioritize ingestion of new data in a fast-paced, high visibility environment. This is a full-time position in McLean, VA, and available now.

Qualifications

Clearance: Candidate must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph in order to be considered.

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience with data management applications, including:
- Relational databases
- Transactional databases
- NoSQL unstructured databases
- Experience handling index(es) and indexing applications, relational, NoSQL
- Programming in various Shell scripting, BASH, KSH
- Experience with Regular Expressions
- Linux or equivalent development skills, particularly scripting controls
- Experience with other interpretive language tools, Ruby, Rails
- Cloud experience with parallel processing and constructive equivalents
- UI knowledge and skills
- AI knowledge and skills
- Extended experience with ICQL and the involved structure of its usage
- Statistical skills
- Experience with customer reporting and reporting document structures

Optional Skills:

- Demonstrated recent experience with the data holdings and formats for the customer’s enterprise search and discovery applications.
- Demonstrated experience with the customer’s search and discovery applications and analytic workflow processes.
- Experience working in an Agile environment
