Key Responsibilities

• Install new databases according to business needs on-prem and cloud solutions.
• Administer, maintain, secure, and improve performance for existing databases (Oracle, MSSQL, AWS RDS MySQL) on-premises and cloud solutions.
• Perform administration and maintenance operations of Goldengate replications.
• Execute clone operations for development and test database environments.
• Monitor system resources and create necessary alarm mechanisms.
• Regularly create and perform database backup/recovery and restoring procedures.
• Collaborate with software teams on performance issues, proactively producing solutions such as partitioning, SQL tuning, etc.
• Provide 24/7 support for critical systems.

General Qualifications

• Graduated from Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or similar departments.
• At least 5 years of experience in Oracle and MSSQL database administration.
• Good knowledge and experience in ASM, RAC, Dataguard, EM.
• Experience with MSSQL Server cluster and high availability architecture.
• Proficient in Solaris/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with new technologies such as NoSQL, Redis, Memcached, Elasticsearch.
• Familiar with AWS cloud technologies and services.
• Preferably knowledgeable and experienced in MySQL, Postgres databases.
• Preferably knowledgeable and experienced in application servers (Weblogic, JBoss).
• Knowledge of Goldengate, Exadata is a plus.
• Attention to detail, high motivation, analytical thinking, team working, and proactive work ability.
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
