Database Administrator (DBA)- ADI (TS/SCI required)

IT Concepts Inc. is currently seeking a qualified Database Administrator (DBA) in support of our Defense Intelligence client in Washington, D.CThis position is more SharePoint focused and short-term fill. ITC is open to 1099 status or W2 employee.

The DBA shall maintain multiple databases containing employee, instructor, student and course data. The DBA shall create new databases as needed, maintain existing databases, update, improve, manage, and utilize multiple databases containing all employee and certification program-related data and metrics as required for certification program management, satisfaction of internal and external reporting requirements, and internal program management/oversight (PMO). The databases are currently established and are accessible via SharePoint but will require maintenance and improvements as defined by the client.

Location: Wahington DC office.- 100% on site.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years proven working experience as a Database Administrator
• Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications
• Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
• Familiarity with database design, documentation and coding
• Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third party tools
• Familiarity with programming languages API
• Problem solving skills and ability to think algorithmically
• BS degree in a computer discipline or relevant certification

Clearance requirement:

• An active TS/SCI is required, with the ability to obtain a CI Poly
