You will be part of:

Small agile team primarily based in Czech Republic which take care of internal and external databases.

With us you will be responsible for:

Most frequently:

• Performance analyses (includes writing or adapting (T/) SQL, CMD, PowerShell or similar scripts to use for that purpose)
• Space management, DB reorganization
• Generic database administration & troubleshooting
• Performance tuning
• MSSQL security

Occasionally: 

• Installation of MSSQL database
• MSSQL patch installation / version upgrades
• Implement Backups
• Restore/Recovery
• Generic MSSQL database consulting

We expect you to have:

• At least 3 years of professional experience with MSSQL databases administration
• Knowledge of MSSQL 2016 SP2 and newer
• Windows Administration
• Good communication skills in English – written and spoken

Advantage:

• Knowledge of Visual Studio Team Services (Azure DevOps) and GIT
• Agile development workflow
• Knowledge also of MariaDB is a huge advantage
• At least some basic understanding of virtualization (Hyper-V) and network topics (VPN, Firewalls, LAN/WAN)
