As a Database Engineer, you will be a part of a smart cross-functional team delivering digital business transformation solutions to our clients. You'll have the unique opportunity to increase the engineering team's productivity by hunting and solving opportunities within the products of some of the world's largest clients.

Responsibilities

• Combine your technical expertise and problem-solving passion to work closely with clients, turning complex ideas into end-to-end solutions that transform our clients' business
• Translate client's requirements to system design and develop a solution that delivers business value
• Conduct technical feasibility assessments and provide project estimates for the design and development of the solution
• Design, develop and deliver large-scale data systems, data processing and data transformation projects
• Demonstrable experience in data platforms involving the implementation of end-to-end data pipelines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Legal Permanent Resident
• Eligible for U.S. Government Clearance.
• Implementation experience with Oracle database(12c,19c) and other relational database systems such as MariaDB
• Experience in data modeling, warehouse design and fact/dimension implementations
• Experience with database/query tuning to improve the performance
• Good communication and willingness to work as a team

Nice to Have

• Implementation experience with column-oriented database technologies (i.e., MariaDB, Databricks) and/or NoSQL database technologies (i.e., DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.)
• Experience with Oracle DBMS upgrade and data migration
• Experience with migrating from a relational database to a NoSQL/Columnar database
• Experience in implementing data pipelines using tools/frameworks like AWS Glue ETL, Lambda, Spark, etc.
• Hands-on experience and certifications with AWS
• Hands-on experience with implementing and/or maintaining PL/SQL packages
• Automate data platform operations and manage the post-production system and processes
• Experience working with Agile project methodology
• Experience working with code repositories and continuous integration
• Experience working in a Linux OS and shell scripts
