Day Porter/Janitor

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. The Day Porter plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for both employees and visitors. This position involves performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout the day, contributing to the overall upkeep of commercial and industrial spaces. Duties • Execute commercial cleaning tasks in various areas, ensuring all surfaces are clean and well-maintained. • Conduct custodial duties such as emptying trash receptacles, cleaning restrooms, and replenishing supplies as needed. • Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to ensure the building is safe and functional for all occupants. • Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies throughout the facility. • Maintain an organized storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment. • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations and address any facility-related issues. Requirements • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is mandatory. • Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is a plus. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and visitors. • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
