Day Supervisor

Schedule Hours: 7:00am-4:00pm Essential Duties: • Lead and coordinate the work of the janitorial staff in the building • General cleaning of building, keeping it maintained and in good condition • Empty wastebaskets and take other trash to disposal areas. • Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming. • Sanitize restrooms and fill dispensers. • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures. • Spot clean glass partitions, window blinds and mirrors. • Dust furniture, walls, woodwork, window stills, equipment and other assigned areas. • Mix cleaning solutions according to specifications. Use floor cleaning equipment as needed (i.e. buffer, walk behind, spot-carpet cleaner). • Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision. • Keep cleaning supplies in stock • Perform other duties and tasks assigned by supervision REQUIREMENTS: • Must speak Spanish and English fluently • Must have basic Microsoft Office Apps understanding, including Outlook and Excel. • Must have janitorial experience • Must be able to work beyond regular hours when needed • Must be of good energy, and able to accomplish multiple tasks quickly • Must be able to perform detailed communication with employees, management, and client. • Must be able to work safely in a clean room manufacturing environment, utilizing safety glasses, clean room suits, and understanding the danger of acids and bases • Must be able to cover missing team members when needed This organization participates in E-Verify Equal Opportunity Employer: GDI, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer and takes pride in maintaining a diverse environment.
