Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75203Qualifications: • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a High School Diploma or GED. • Must have at least 2 years experience working in a licensed childcare facility. • Prefer CDA, degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary EducationBenefits/Perks • Professional Development: Room for growth within the company • Low child-to-teacher ratios • Monthly classroom budget • Weekly planning time • Paid background check, CPR, First-Aid, & Food Handlers Permit • Teacher Appreciation & Recognition: Surprise Gifts/SnacksPay Range:$15.00 - $25.00 per hour Responsibilities: • Ensure the children have good hygiene and changing diapers as necessary • Develop a careful and creative program suitable for specific age groups of children • Employ a variety of educational techniques (theatrical, storytelling, educational play, media, etc.) to teach children • Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem • Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments • Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers, or colors, do crafts, etc.) • Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are always safe. • Track children’s progress and report to parents • Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s background and psyche. • Collaborate with other educators. • Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards. • Proficient Knowledge of Texas Child Care Licensing Minimum StandardsOur Company: American Care Academy is an Early Childhood Education Development Center with the missionto empower children through highly effective learning programs, social development, and community involvement.
