Your Role and Responsibilities
Database Administration:Install configure and maintain either Oracle and/or PostgreSQL and MS-SQL databases ; Perform database backups restores and recoveries ; Monitor database performance identify bottlenecks and implement optimization techniques ;Ensure database security integrity and availability ; Implement and maintain database replication clustering and high-availability solutions
Analyze database performance metrics and identify areas for improvement ;Implement indexing caching and other optimization techniques; Optimize database configuration memory allocation and resource utilization * Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development QA and operations ; Communicate database design implementation and performance metrics to stakeholders; Provide training and support to junior team members ;Participate in database design reviews and ensure compliance with industry best practices

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Hands on experience as a DBA with expertise in Oracle PostgreSQL and MS-SQL(The candidate has to possess either two of the three skills )
Strong understanding of database architecture design and performance tuning ;
Proficiency in SQL PL/SQL T-SQL and other database programming languages ;
Experience with database replicating and high-availability solutions
confirm if they can perform a DBA role independently with minimal supervision.
The skills required are that of a typical DBA who can troubleshoot administer the planned tasks as well as be on call when needed to support escalated issues
